COVID-19: Important information for your stay at our hotel

Ladies and gentlemen,
dear guests,

We take your safety and well-being, as well as the one of our employees, as our utmost priority; therefore we have implemented and adhere to the highest standards of safety, hygiene and disinfection to address COVID-19 in collaboration with international medical experts and following the recommendations of the Robert-Koch Institute and the current Corona ordinance of the federal state of Lower Saxony. Please note that the federal regulations are subject to constant change, therefore all information on this website is without guarantee. We try to keep the information as up-to-date as possible.

An overview of our measures to ensure the safety of our guests and employees in the different hotel areas:


General

Who is authorised to stay at our hotel?

The travel requirements depend on the current hospitalization rate in Lower Saxony. You can find it here.

The following conditions apply:

3G-rule: At a local hospitalisation rate under 3, people are only allowed to stay at a hotel in Lower Saxony if they are fully vaccinated, recovered or tested negative (antigen test certificate no older than 24 hours, PCR test no older than 48 hours, self-tests not accepted).
2G-rule: At a local hospitalisation rate between 3 and 6, people are only allowed to stay at a hotel in Lower Saxony if they are fully vaccinated or recovered.
2G+-rule: At a local hospitalisation rate higher thanh 6, people are only allowed to stay at a hotel in Lower Saxony if they are fully vaccinated or recovered and additionally tested negative (antigen test certificate no older than 24 hours, PCR test no older than 48 hours, self-tests not accepted).

Children and teenager up to the age of 18 years are allowed to access the 3G and 2G areas regardless.

 

Where are the closest test stations?

  • IKEA test centre: approx. 40 minutes on foot (3.2 km) or approx. 25 minutes by bus (2 stops)

is the wearing of a mask mandatory in the hotel?

Yes, an FFP2 mask must be worn at all times in all public hotel areas.

 

Is there the possibility of digital contact tracing?

Yes, digital contact tracing in our hotel is carried out via the luca app.

 

Further measures taken by the hotel:

  • Disinfectant dispensers are available in all public hotel areas.
  • Public areas area are regularly cleaned and disinfected.
  • To protect both our guests and employees, the front desk is fitted with plexiglass panels.
  • The reception area and restaurand are lined with markings to maintain the minimum safety distance.
  • A one-way system is in place for the breakfast buffet.
  • Access to the lift is limited to a certain number of people. For more information, please refer to the signage on site.
  • Masks are available at reception.
  • In order to minimise contact points and transmission routes, your room is only entered for cleaning after check-out. If you would like to have cleaning inbetween, please reach out to our front desk staff.

Breakfast

does the hotel offer breakfast?

We offer our regular breakfast buffet again, adhering to the minimum safety distance and one-way system regulations. The buffet is prepared and served under strict hygiene regulations. Due to the reduced number of seats, a reservation is necessary. Make sure to book a table for breakfast as early as possible at our front desk so that we can take your preferred timeslot into account.

Monday - Friday 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

Saturday & Sunday 6:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.


Gastronomy

Restaurant & Terrace

Our hotel is currently only open to cater for conferences and business meetings.

 

Hotel bar

Due to the current situation our hotel bar remains closed until further notice.

We are happy to serve breakfast to your room between 6:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

 

Half board

Half board is currently only available for group bookings.

Our partner gym is open again and available for fee-based use.
